With a dedicated exhibition, Hi-rEV showed the public the latest technologies and products developed by the consortium so far. This platform allowed not only a visual presentation, but also direct interaction with visitors, enriching the dialog on electric mobility and innovation.

The event was also attended by key figures in national politics and the economy, including the Prime Minister, António Costa, and the Minister for the Economy, António Costa Silva, who showed interest in and support for the work carried out by Hi-rEV. This opportunity to receive the government representatives and present the already tangible results offered the project a unique platform to highlight its economic and social impact, as well as to reinforce its commitment to the country’s green transformation.

The Hi-rEV Project not only celebrated its own progress, but also actively contributed to the discussion on Portugal’s energy future. At a time when mobilizing agendas are playing a crucial role in the post-pandemic economic recovery, Hi-rEV is at the forefront, driving not only innovation, but also job creation and sustainable growth.

The event also served as the stage for the announcement by the Minister for the Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, of the impressive objectives of the mobilizing agendas funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). Expected to create an additional eight billion euros in turnover and 18,000 new jobs by 2026, the mobilizing agendas represent a fundamental pillar in the strategy to revitalize the national economy.
